Education is the constitutional right of the every citizen, the Surevin foundation society effort is to make proper arrangements for higher education to the girls of KGBV by the support of government of India. The government of India has started class 12th in some district due to efforts by the Survein foundation society, but most of the student of the KGBV still deprived of higher education in Uttar Pradesh. under its project "Daughters of kasturba" , Surevin foundation society has adopted various kasturba Gandhi Vidyalya and provide infrastructure and education support to them. On the other hands society has not only provide the quality education and infrastructure they also provide skill education like stitching, toys making, embroidery, computer education beautician course, jewelry making and front office course.




Infrastructure facilities improved by providing
- Cots for students
- Tiling in the rooms to make them cleaner
- Bathrooms were again made to make them neat and clean
- Volunteers being provided to teach English and Maths
During the first phase of this work cots, blankets and books were provided to some of the school, to provide and replenish basic infrastructure in these schools.

In the second phase even construction work was undertaken and to improve the floors where these children used to sit & studytiling work was undertaken. Almirahs were provided to these children so that they can keep their personal belongings properly and existing bathrooms of the school were renovated and extra bathrooms constructed to provide a clean and sanitised environment.
Towards skill development of these girls, Toys making classes and Tailoring classes were also provided in the school premises.



In the third phase,based on the experience of this work done and data collected from KGBVs indifferent districts, it was felt that until these schools are upgraded upto class XII, it will be difficult to support these girls for proper basic education. Accordingly, the issue was taken up with the Central Govt and proposal to upgrade all Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas till 12th Standard in the state of Uttar Pradesh was taken up.
